The protagonist from Dhoom, Abhishek Bachchan, made a spectacular comeback with Amazon Prime’s Breathe into the Shadows (Friyay’s take: Add this to your watch list). The show opened to mixed reviews but has received some love from the audience & has an IMDb rating of 7.8

For all you guys who have watched the show, know how wonderfully they have incorporated Dissociative Identity Disorder as part of the myriad twists and turns in this engrossing and pretty emotional thriller.

However, the twist at the end was even more shocking and viewers both then and now love getting terrified by watching it. It also serves as inspiration for the highly successful Bates Motel (Friyay’s take: Must watch) which is streaming on Netflix.

We are sure that Bhool Bhulaiyaa introduced the concept of Multiple Personality Disorder for us 90s kids in India. Before Kahani star, Vidya Balan wooed the world with her “Dirty Movie”, she was Manjulika crooning to “Ami je tomar” giving one of the most enchanting performances on Indian screen. Full of surprising twists and turns and epic comic scenes, it was a remakes of the Malayalam movie Manichitrathazu which was even remade as Chandramukhi in Tamil. It has attained cult status in India.

Having successfully captured the emotions of the youth struggling to find meaning beyond their regular 9-5, it has turned into another iconic hit and even though the violence may be a little too much, watch it for the raw performances by Pitt, Norton and the wonderful Ms. Carter.

All of them suffer from a range of mental ailments, This movie is a lot about female friendships, support from family and how we need to reach the depth of abyss to climb up to reach the heights of what we are capable of.

This is an eccentric, romantic drama-comedy with Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games) and Bradley Cooper (The Hangover) giving some of their best performances. It is a difficult love story because obviously silver linings are always accompanied by clouds. Watch this movie for an honest portrayal of mental health and how it affects so-called normal lives.

This miniseries of six episodes introduces us to Grace Marks, a young woman jailed for almost two decades in 1843 Canada for a brutal and bloody double homicide. She has lost her recollection of the tragic events in spite of the vivid essence of Grace ‘s crimes.

Basically, it is about a man with 24 different personalities, who abducts and jails three teenage girls in an isolated underground prison.
